Kyutaro (Kazuki Kitamura) now lives with his nagging mother-in-law Tae (Hana Kino) and spends his days aimlessly. His mother-in-law informs him of a sword instructor position for the Tosa Domain on Shikoku Island. Kyutaro reluctantly decides to go there with his beloved cat Tamanojo. Soon, Kyutaro encounters more than he bargained for.
